Great app! Has served me well during hunting season and look, feel and functions available are great in one location. Only improvement Id like to see is being able to see the locations of my hunting partners in as close to real time as possible on the map. Keep up the good work,
Finally an APP with the Alberta wildlife management units layer included with traditional mapping and locating services!
This is a very useful app for hunting etc and was disappointed when it stopped working after the latest update. I contacted support and they got back to me right away and was advised it was being addressed. Within a couple hours it was rectified. Thanks
I have had this app for over a year. There is other apps out there that I believe "imitate" this app but after purchasing them all, I only use ihunter. Probably isnt a day go by I dont open ihunter to just browse around and plan hunting trips. As an outfitter I recommend it to all my clients. Its an absolute must if youre a hunter. The value is worth way more than what they charge. Well done and thank you for making hunting that much more fun.
Been looking forward to the update sure its great. To bad no coyote info tho
I like this app for telling me the boundaries of the wmus I scout/hunt. The updates are making it a lot better from when I first bought it. Good for keeping your meat legal.
This is overpriced for what you get. they want another $10 from me to get more info I should already have.
This is a terrific app. Ive used it in the field for a year or so, and its proven itself time and time again. Some of the best features is the ability to select a WMU, see the regs at a glance (useful if talking to a conservation officer), and the ability to see satellite imagery of the location you are in saves a lot of walking/wasted time. The fact that the app refreshes the regulations, every year, at no cost, makes the app well worth the initial cost, every other feature is just gravy. Youll see other complaints about the information provided is free elsewhere, thats correct, however, this app consolidates all the information, keeps it on your phone (very important when out of cell range), and makes it easy to use, for the price of two cups of Tim Hortons coffee.
Have cell service...will travel!! Forget about paper maps or photos. Dont worry about getting lost. Blaze your own trail in your favourite hunting spots or new uncharted territory. Best money Ive spent on an App to date. Great features, useful links, excellent support. Nice work Mark and thanks for this great tool.
Decent app needs LOTS of work. Would be nice to have a secondary reference map for when out of service (be nice to pin spots on it when no service) need NO hunt zones covered way better (actual zoning, reason why. Take WMU 410 and 408 for example)... Blah blah blah... Overall good reference app when in service.
Very usefull, like the app
DL the new update with the crown land info. Works very well on the iphone but crashes on the ipad immediately after opening. Pretty sweet app though.
If youre a hunter you need this app!
Best hunting app ever!
The idea is great but the app freezes constantly on iPad. Try to enter settings and the app freezes, try to move the map and the app freezes. Hopefully it will be updated so it will work but until then it is useless.
Would highly recommend to any hunter or outdoorsman in alberta.
I would not recommend this app to anyone. Not even to a slow person with the patience of a saint. My experience with this app on iPhone 4s with ios8.1.
When cached still follows u around like a gps , fk gps systems and what u pay for them. This allows u to cach ur area so u dont have to have service where ur hunting aslong as ur cached for that area. Compared regs to it an very accurate, went hunting in no cell phones zones and got our qoutas :) moose :) get it wont be sorry Thnks ihunter keep er updated wicked app if ur a hunter. And i have a 4 s and it works fine :)
Awesome! It would be nice to improve the quality and show where private land is.
